Lily of The Valley Sympathy

Hi everyone! I hope the weekend has been kind to you!

I wanted to share another Sympathy card today for a dear crafting friend. I hope she is doing okay, all things considered:

I went for quite a soft, pretty look for this one. What do you think?

I started with a Rustic White cardstock panel and stamped the flower from Year of Flowers: Lily of The Valley using Kraft ink.

I then used the pads of my fingers to gently rub some A:Muse inks into the panel to colour it. This felt really therapeutic for me, and provided a lovely soft look as well. I used A:Muse Wheat, Sage and Lichen inks.

I then swiped the edges with VintageTouch Tea Dye Duo inks before impressing the panel with the Linen & Canvas Impression Plate. I inked up the plate with Fine Linen ink before using it so that it impressed a touch of colour into the cardstock.

I added the sentiment from Peaceful Garden using Kraft ink, then adhered the panel at an angle to a Clear & Simple Stamps Pressed Griege Linen card base.

Well that's it from me for today. I hope you'll pop back soon, have a great Sunday everyone!

Beautiful. Love all the layers of color, yet it still stays so soft.
